My life journey has included studying religions and spirituality, and this aspect of my life is both key and central to how I work to be present in all that I do. It is hard work, yet it is very rewarding. My studies have included the three-year course, Seeking God in the 21st Century, at the Center for Spiritual Development and an ever-deepening search and awakening at the Queen of Angels Benedictine monastery in Mt. Angel, Oregon. My studies have also included Judaism, the Kabbalah, as well as aspects of both Buddhism and Sufis. My roots and religious membership are within the tradition of Unprogrammed Quakers. I have also taken vows as a Benedictine Oblate at the monastery in Mt. Angel. I currently serve as the Quaker representative on the Board of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon and am committed to Ecumenism; the honoring of the faith(s) and practice(s) of all spiritual journeys.
To me a Spiritual Director is in truth a spiritual companion, or as John O’Donohue penned, a Soul Friend. It would be my honor to accompany you on any part of your journey.
