If there is something that you need for your pet, ask. I will also take special needs pets and sick animals into my house to board while you are away.  I generally don’t do overnights, but I have a list of people that I refer to that I trust and highly recommend. Otherwise, I am available for most any assignment. If you find yourself in an emergency, I will work to make it happen / work out for you. My experience with animals has led to animal communication that allows me to interact with you pets at a different level. There are many times that I will get insight with a pet as to what is going on with them. Some of the services that I offer:

Pet Sitting: Companion Pet care while you are away ~

For dogs: I recommend 3 visits per day (but will do 2).
For cats: 1 visit per day includes play (will do more than 1 too).

A sample of services which are provided:

  • feeding and general care for your pets
  • walking
  • puppy care
  • training
  • massage
  • giving them fresh water
  • exercising & playing with the pets (also giving "loves")
  • scooping the litter box
  • picking up after the dogs on a walk
  • brushing pets
  • giving medication & vitamins
  • a daily log of the visits and/or email log
  • wound care / recovery care
  • hospice care
  • bringing in the newspaper and mail
  • turning the lights on or off
  • opening & shutting the curtains
  • watering the plants
  • taking the trash & the recycle to the curb
  • giving attention and reassurance to your furry children pets

*Please note: Special arrangements may be made for long term care for pet parents that are either hospitalized or in convalescent care.

Mid day breaks & Emergency visits: A "mid day" break is a visit that lasts approximately 20 minutes. The visit may include: a short walk, play in your yard, general care, check in care for elderly or sick pets, potty breaks for puppies, or any other visit that you request for your pet. ~ This is especially handy for puppy training and/or elder dog care. (Available for established clients on call; all others require pre-purchase of a "book of visits") Other services are available upon request (such as shopping, and other errands you may need done, veterinarian visits, food and supplies pick up, grooming drop off and pick up, etc.) Additional services are not discounted.

Also available, your pet may accompany me in my car as I do other pet visits!

Pet Taxi & Errands:
Typically used when transportation to and from a vet or grooming appointment is needed. I can also go to the pet store to pick up supplies you need! The fee includes either the drop off and pick up of your pet(s) or waiting / accompanying your pet on their visit. Clients are asked to provide leashes and/or carriers. Additional rates for outside coverage areas may apply.

Poop / Yard clean up:
Finding time in your busy week can be daunting, picking up your pet's poop is not the most enjoyable task, so let me do it for you. I'll stop by your house at a designated time and take care of your pet's waste (timed to coordinate with your trash day or for yard clean up prior to a party). Poop scooping visits arranged at your convenience and can be combined with a treat of a pet walk at the same time. Did you know that dog feces are one of the most common carriers of the following diseases:  Hookworms, Roundworms, Tapeworms, Corona, Salmonellosis, Cryptosporidiosis, Campylobacteriosis

Children as well as baby / young animals are the most susceptible to pet-borne illnesses

Special Needs / Hospice Care:
Puppy visits and training sessions are available.  Visits for post surgery check up can be arranged, as can special visits for animals that are disabled or in a "hospice state". Massage of pets can also be arranged for varying lengths of time. Care for special needs pets may have additional charges during Pet Sits while you are on vacation.
