Lucie & Zoe pose so well for the camera
Lucie & Zoe at home

I was hit by a car in late fall while walking to a community event. While having my leg surgically repaired I experienced multiple complications, turning my one night in the hospital into an unexpected "vacation" from Thanksgiving to the middle of January. As my regular sitter was unavailable, I hired a friend’s inexperienced daughter to care for my home and dogs. After a frantic late night call from a neighbor just days before Christmas, I found out that my two large and already very anxious rescue dogs were repeatedly left alone for hours on end, and at times as much as four days at a time! As well there were unauthorized guests in my home, things missing, and simple things such as mail and plant watering were not addressed. I was worried sick and the stress of this resulted in additional complications.

By a Christmas miracle, "Auntie Lisa" came to our rescue and not only rescued my babies out of a horrid and neglectful situation, but was also more than willing to take on extra needed household tasks (shopping, cleaning, home upkeep and care.) When I was finally discharged I had a nice haven to return to and two very happy and very spoiled dogs. Additionally I now have someone nearby I can depend upon to play with my dogs and help with errands and continuing household care as I continue to heal. Auntie Lisa still comes for regular visits, her pockets full of treats. My furry family and I are always happy to see her cheerful smiling face!          Kerri H.

Lisa has been an amazing help taking care of our neurotic ferret.  The first time she took care of him when we went out of town, he stressed out and proceeded to get an ulcer and started to have some pretty serious medical problems.  We credit the fact that Horky is still with us today to Lisa's quick thinking and willingness to take action.  It is so clear that she is caring and affectionate with Horky while we are gone, and that means a lot to us.  We would recommend Lisa to anyone who needs excellent quality pet care.
