Our parents (or other elderly family member) represent all that is at the foundation of our lives. They forged the way into developing the world that we live in. They sacrificed, worried and spent many a night worrying about us. Now, they need someone to watch out for them. As our parents age, they depend more and more on us to help and watch out for them. For many, the quality of their lives is linked to their desire to stay in their homes, maintaining their independence. Others have made the transition into senior living centers; assisted living centers or care centers.

What is priceless? The peace of mind for the care you / your senior family member deserves. Family members may have the contact information for your doctors but do they/you have access to someone that can be an independent and objective assistant? Would you like to have someone accompany you / your parent on an outing when you are unavailable or not in the area?
For many adult children of aging parents, there is an uncertainty that the care center where our parents have ended up are up to the standards that we would want for them. I will be that someone that will check in on them in their homes (wherever home is) to make sure that they are doing ok, eating and having their needs met.
At some point, you / they might want to hire someone to accompany them to the doctor, help them with their laundry, do cleaning and possibly help with meal preparation. There may be times when there is a need for an individual to care for their pet(s) while they are in the hospital and you are there with them. At times, they may need assistance to pay their bills (while they continue to sign the checks) and organize their paperwork.
For every family, there is a life situation or need that requires either assistance or oversight. Who does this when you are out of state or over extended for time yourself? My services will cover the range of needs that you have. Most importantly, I will be there with your parent; a companion, a friend, an advocate.
My services include day to day care, shopping, companionship, transportation, yard and housework, accompanying to doctors or other events. Services to meet and maintain the quality of an independent standard of living. I will also provide oversight with an eye towards accountability for outside contractors hired for other services as well!
I will also visit and evaluate care centers with a written report and evaluation either prior to placement or post placement in a care center. I will always work within your guidelines and to your specifications, being mindful of your requests.
My services are contracted by you and include anything within the realm of the care with the exception of medical care. However, I can investigate and interview medical providers on your behalf and provide written reports to you as well as accompany your loved one on medical visits.
